Officials from NMSP-controlled areas  underwent training in the basics of conflict resolution from January 10th to the 12th.

The training was designed to improve the officials’ negotiation capacities within the NMSP district with township authorities.  28 trainees from various NMSP-controlled areas participated in the event, which was held at the Rahmonnya Hotel in Mawlamyine.

According to the NMSP Technical Support Team, the Ramayana Peace Foundation (RPF) team  conducted the training. In addition to basic concepts of conflict management, trainees were exposed to challenges, process preparation, implementation and success stories.
