According to the Kale Township People's Police Force, three schoolteachers have been arrested for operating schools affiliated with the Military Council in Kale Township, Sagaing Region, and they intend to charge them with anti-terrorism offenses.

"The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) has already declared coup leader Min Aung Hlaing  and his co-conspirators as terrorists.  Some of the non- CDM teacher working for Min Aung Hlaing's  are also acting in complicity with the coup regime” Aung Gyi, leader of the Kale Township People's Police Force told Khonumthung News.

On August 7th, Principal U San Tun Maung and Assistant Secondary Teacher U Gwen Swoom Khaing of No. 9 Basic Education High School in Kale Township, were apprehended by officers from the People's Police Force in front of the school. The following day, August 8th, Principal U Maung Maung Khin of Kyaukkar Village Middle School in Kale Township was similarly arrested at his residence.

Police Commander Aung Gyi explained that all arrests and prosecutions were carried out impartially, devoid of any bias or favoritism. "Everything we did was without bias, driven neither by love nor hate. It's crucial for everyone to differentiate between right and wrong. I believe those operating under Min Aung Hlaing will compromise the integrity of the revolution”, he said.
