Soldiers killed and injured as Tatmadaw convoy sets off PDF mine

The People's Defense Force (PLA) mines were set off by two military council vehicles coming from Monywa in Depayin, Sagaing region last night (August 7), Soldiers were killed and wounded.

The five-vehicle convoy ran into ines at 9 p.m. near Gudawgyi branch, between Pyan Kya Village and Kyi Village on Yae Oo-Monywa Road.

A local PDF member told Mizzima that three landmines exploded and destroyed two military vehicles.
