Cycling for Peace’ event in Yangon celebrates 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

The 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated today in Yangon with a "Cycling for Peace" event, part of a yearlong celebration of Gandhi’s life and work.

Many events are being organized in regards to this occasion starting from 2 October 2018.

The Embassy of India, Yangon organized "Cycling for Peace" to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, in association with Myanmar Cycling Federation at Kandawgyi  Park with many bikers coming out to join in.

The event is supported by State Bank of India, the largest bank of India, and organized by the Indian Embassy.

Many events are being organized in regards to this occasion starting from 2 October 2018.
