In Zin Kyaik Township, Drug Dealer Arrested, Weapons seized

An individual who had been selling  ecstasy pills in Zin Kyaik, Mon State was arrested on August 7, around 1:00 p.m.  

Authorities searched a house in Khaload Ward area (3), where the resident,  Ko Naing Min Oo, an ironworker, was living.  The search led to the seizure of 50 ecstasy pills,  three hand-made guns and some iron balls.

A person close to the Zin Kyaik District Police Station said, "....currently, a case has been opened citing violations of the law on narcotics and psychotropic drugs."

A case will be opened and legal actions will be taken against Ko Naing Min Oo for possession of  illegal weapons.

An investigation that is also underway, will  look for related offenders.

In related news, on  August 4th, 5,200 ecstasy pills were found and seized  from a vehicle driven by a woman after she passed the  Pagya checkpoint in Thanphyuzayat township.
