The United League of Arakan  / Arakan Army (ULA / AA) will hold monthly online press conferences from this month and the first one will be organised on 5 March next.

The first ULA / AA press conference will begin at 10 am on Saturday, where the speakers will elaborate their point of views in Rakhine language, said  AA spokesman Khaing Thukha in his social media page on 27 February.

“The press conference will be held every month and reporters may join in it through https://forms.gle/9FkNHENUvZ9R1sMp9,” said the spokesman.

He added that only registered reporters will be allowed to cover the event and necessary information for attending the press conference will be emailed to them.

Questions to be asked at the press conference should be emailed in advance to [email protected] by Tuesday. Only two questions per reporter will be entertained, he revealed.
