More than 100 regime troops hiding along Dawei-Htee Khee road

More than 100 fully equipped military council personnel have been hiding along the Dawei-Htee Khee road in Dawei, Tanintharyi Region since April 16, the local People's Defense Force officials said.

It is not yet known why the junta members are hiding, but an official from the Dawei People's Defense Force said they were keeping an eye on the issue.

According to the local People's Defense Forces, the military council could carry aircraft fuel or essential supplies from the Dawei-Htee Khee route.

The regime is reportedly transporting jet fuel via Thailand along the Myawaddy-Kawkareik Asia route, and is reportedly trying to do so from the Dawei-Htee Khee road as fighting with KNLA Brigade 6 continues.

On April 1, an unidentified armed group set fire to two oil trucks owned by the AwRa Company on the Dawei-Htee Khee road.
