The body of a young man was found in a Bangladesh refugee camp on May 25, according to residents.

The man was identified as Mohamed Shafi, 32, according to Kolim, a refugee living in the Kutupalong camp.

The body was found in Block F, in a stream.

Kolim said Mohamed Shafi had recently come back to Kutupalong camp from Malaysia, but added that no one knows who he met in the camp or if he had any personal disputes.

Hussain Ahmed, an elder at the camp, said there are no known suspects at this time. He added that Mohamed Shafi’s family lodged a case with local police who are looking into the death.
