COVID-19 kills five in Mawlamyine after the Military Coup

Following the coup, up to five people have died with COVID-19 infection in Mawlamyine according to the sources of the Mawlamyine General Hospital.

As of June 14, three people had died, and two more died today while being treated at the COVID-19 Isolation Ward at Mawlamyine General Hospital.

A 72 years old man and another 53 years old man died today.

At the moment, caregivers of deaths and their family members are taking treatment at the hospital.

In Mawlamyine, isolation Ward 3 donating by Kyaw Kyar Construction has reopened for civilian treatment and the function continues with the support of local aid groups.

More than 50 cases of COVID-19 have infected again, according to data from Mawlamyine Hospital.
