4 killed, 2 seriously injured after a car hitting landmine in Loikaw

At 2:00 PM on February 6, a car carrying 6 men was hit by a landmine on the road of Zayathpyu village, Loikaw township, Karenni state, killing 4 and seriously injuring 2, according to the Shwe Loikaw Charitable Association, which participated in the rescue.

"Among the living patients and scattered bodies, we from Shwe Loikaw Association brought 3 dead bodies and 1 living patient, and the remaining 1 dead body and 1 living patient were delivered to Loikaw Hospital by Shwe Nyaung Pin Charitable Association," Shwe Loikaw Charitable Association vice president Aung Moe Myint said on his Facebook page.

A white IPSUM car was hit by a landmine on the road passing Zayathpyu village. 4 people in the car died on the spot, 3 of them were Ko Aung Soe Moe, Ko Tun Min Lat and Ko Sein Min. The names of the remaining people are still unknown.
