A Shan youth network is preparing to hold a conference in Bago Region, the third such event the group has held since 2013.

Six organizers from the Tai Youth Network met with Shan residents from Taungoo, Phyu, Kyaukkyi, and Kyauktaga townships on July 27 to start laying groundwork for the upcoming conference.

The third conference will be held at Thapyay Tan in Kyauktaga,” said Sai Loi Kham Pan, a youth leader from the Tai Youth Network.

The conference aims to build solidarity among the local youth.

The first national Tai Youth Conference was held in 2013 and the second was held in Mandalay in 2015.
