Khaing Lu Hla (Roma Mray) — The Arakan People's Revolutionary Government under the United League of Arakan (ULA/AA) has announced that the people of Arakan State can now officially open commercial public internet cafes in cooperation with the authorities.
The technology department of the government stated that the rollout of this initiative officially establishes a three-tier licensing system for Starlink Ethernet services, allowing local operators to charge for internet access.
The business entities are asked to operate in partnership with the government. The initiative specifically permits individuals utilizing Starlink Ethernet set-ups to transition into the fee-based service providers.
Authorized commercial locations will be designated as the Public Internet Access Centers (PIACs).
The initiative is expected to boost the local economy by introducing new business ownership and private-sector job opportunities.
Moreover, delivering affordable and neighborhood-level internet connectivity to residents is also aimed.
Some mutual benefits can be assumed with the streamlining public internet availability while reinforcing governmental access to communication infrastructure.
The prospective operators are asked to contact the technology department for an official license. The licenses will be issued based on established department guidelines.
The department commits to provide full personnel training and technical support to the shop operators. The aspiring businessmen are advised to contact their local administrative and technical departments for necessary registration details.
