The United League of Arakan (ULA), the political wing of Arakan Army (AA), has been recruiting staff for the School of Nursing and School of Public Policy & Administration (ASPPA) and hence accepting applications from aspirant candidates to fill up the vacant positions.
The Arakan Nursing School is inviting applications from the qualified individuals. According to the Arakan Public Health Department the nursing school receives applications from candidates to provide healthcare services. An official statement released on 31 January said that the applicants must be residents of Rakhine State and below 25 years of ages.
According to the ULA central office, one English teacher, three teaching assistants, one IT officer, one IT assistant, and one office clerk posts remain vacant. The qualifications required for each position were described in the statement. Candidates hailing from the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government can apply for the positions, said a statement released on 30 January.
Those who passed the old matriculation examinations before 2024 must have completed the Biology Science Diploma with a combined score of 170 or higher in the Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. For those who passed the new examination from 2021 to 2025, a minimum C grade in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry will be required.
The passionate young individuals interested in providing healthcare facilities to the people of Arakan are encouraged to apply. The nursing school aims to train a new group of Arakanese youth who are dedicated to their country and also willing to accept the responsibilities for nursing care in the Arakan region with a strong sense of national consciousness.
In December 2025, the Arakan Public Health Department invited applications for admission to the Arakan Medical Science School for candidates under 25 years of age. Additionally, the department called for the establishment of a medical center to provide healthcare to the Rakhine people.In August 2025 too, applications were invited for a midwifery training course for women under 25 years of age. Furthermore in July 2025, the Arakan Public Health Department launched a health supervision course for nearly 100 participants.
