Myanmar-Thailand border trade has dropped by $24.27 million and stands at US$2.13 billion between 1 October and 3 April in this fiscal 2019-2020, according to the Global New Light of Myanmar.

Hteekhee border trade accounted for the largest volume of trade, according to the statistical report of the Myanmar Ministry of Commerce.

Last year, the bilateral border trade hit US$ 2.16 billion. The country’s export to neighbouring Thailand reached US$1.49 billion while its import shared $634 million, according to the newspaper.
