Military Council Deploys Drones with Flame Bombs, Incinerating Shops and House in Loikaw

In the downtown area of Loikaw Township, situated in Karenni State, the Military Council used drones to drop flame bombs, causing the destruction of shops and residential houses in the ensuing blaze.

JOBS From Kayah informed that the Military Council targeted the Two-Storey Market in Loikaw and neighboring houses with flame bombs on January 26th.

"On the upper floor of that market, there are shops selling furniture and cosmetics, while downstairs there are more ironware shops. Additionally, pharmacies, gold shops, and hotels are located nearby. Unfortunately, many buildings surrounding the area where the bombs fell, caught fire”, a local woman told Shan Herald.

"In northern Shan State, amid clashes related to the 'Operation 1027,' the Military Council deployed artillery, drones, and aircraft to strike residential areas and markets in Loikaw, resulting in the destruction of 10 percent of the town's area.
