A 50-year-old man was shot in the head and killed in eastern Shan State’s Tachileik town on Tuesday.

“He was killed on the spot,” said witness Sai Seing.
The gunmen headed toward downtown Tachileik after the shooting and are still at large.
“We are afraid because the shooting occurred in a crowded area.
