Bomb kills two in attack on Mandalay ward administration office

Two people, including a ward administrator, were killed when a bomb exploded at the Pyigyidagun Township ward administration office in Mandalay City at 10:35 a.m. on 31 October.

The attack on the office, located on 58th street between 123rd and 124th streets in Pyigyidagun Township, was carried out by Mandalay-based urban guerrilla forces.

A local resident said: "The administrator was hit in the stomach and died immediately and another office worker was killed. I'm sure two people were killed in the bombing.”

According to Anonymous Force MDY, one of the groups involved in the attack, two people including the ward administrator were killed and at least seven were injured by the explosion.

The attack was carried out by a combined force from the Anonymous Force MDY, Mandalay Youngs Force-MYF, and Truth Keeping Force-AMA.
