The Indian Army arrested the underground member and seized his weapon in village of Silsuri , southern Mizoram. He was handed over to the Lawngtlai police station, a source said.
It is uncertain what kind and the number of weapons he had but it is certain that Mr. Keng Lung is a KPA member. He is likely to be jailed on the grounds of possessing illegal weapons and illegal entry.
A local said that Kumi underground members are more active in the Bangladesh border area. But around 10 members have been active in the Indian border area.
KPA was established in 2000 by Mr. Shwe Sai for restoration of democracy in Burma . But later some of their members started joining the Chin National Army.
