Salai Kyaw Moe — The ink is smudging on some of the ballots in Kanpetlet, Chin State, according to U Hone Man, leader of the Non-aligned Observation Group. In some cases only half can be seen on the ballots.

The polling station officer has told voters that they will document these incidents, U Hone Man said. He told voters that they will still consider their ballots as a valid vote if it’s only stamped once even though only half can be seen.

U Hone Man told BNI Election Newsroom that the polling station officer said extra caution will be taken when counting these ballots this evening.
