Mya Wun Yan — The Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) have reportedly received the most votes in advanced ballots sent from outside Taunggyi constituency for the Lower House.  Among the 1,990 advance ballots, the USDP received 1,726 votes; NLD received 174 votes; SNLD received 15 votes; PNO received 8 votes; DNDP received 1 vote; SNDP received 6 votes and 60 ballots were considered invalid.

The other parties are crying foul and sent an objection letter to the Union Election Commission to recognize these ballots as invalid. Thus, party candidates have sealed these advanced ballots with their signatures.

There is also a considerable gap in advanced votes for the Upper House seat.
