Chin National Front claims killing of 60 junta soldiers for month of August

The Chin National Front (CNF) announced on 1 September that clashes between the local Chin joint defense forces and the Military Council troops broke out between Hakha Township and Thantlang Township, Chin State from 30 July to 31 August and at least 60 junta troops have been killed.

Several Chin resistance forces took on the junta.

The Chin National Army (CNA), Chinland Joint Defense Committee -Special Force (CJDC), Chin Defense Force (Thantlang), Chin Defense Force (CDF -Zophei), Chin Defense Force (CDF-Lautu), Chin Defense Force (CDF-Mara), and Chin Defense Forces (CDF-Hakha) jointly fought the Military Council troops from 30 July to 31 August.

During the attacks, a fighter from CDF-Hakha bravely sacrificed his life for the country and five members of the Chin local defense forces were injured.

Currently, Military Council troops are pursuing an offensive near Timit Bridge, Chin State, clashing with Chin joint defense forces.
