Two companies from Myanmar donated a batch of disposable masks to China to bolster its efforts to combat the novel coronavirus, Xinhua reported.

A total of 36,000 disposable masks were handed over by Young Insurance and Htoo Thit to the Chinese embassy in Myanmar.

"Our embassy plans to send these donations to the areas which are in need without delay," Li Xiaoyan, charge d'affaires of the Chinese embassy in Myanmar, told Xinhua, adding that these donations showed the deep "Paukphaw" (fraternal) friendship between the two peoples.
