Two police vehicles damaged in AA mine attack

Two police vehicles were damaged by remote-controlled explosive mines by the Arakan Army (AA) in Mrauk-U on 11 January, but no casualties were reported, according to state media.

The vehicles were carrying families of Mrauk-U police officers back from the local market when the explosives were set off near Takya Mahn Aung Pagoda.

Myanmar Police Force reported that while the vehicles were damaged no person was hurt.
