Two more people died of seasonal influenza A (H1N1) pdm 09 in Yangon region, bringing the death toll to 31 in total across Myanmar so far, according to the figures released by the Public Health Department under the Health and Sports Ministry, Xinhua reported.

Yangon region topped the list with 25 deaths, followed by Ayeyawady region with three deaths, Sagaing region with two deaths and Mon state with one, respectively.

From Jan. 1 to July 8, 180 people have contracted with H1N1 influenza virus out of 502 suspected patients.
