A Framework for Political Dialogue (FPD) is set to be concluded before the second round of the 21st Century Panglong Union Peace Conference, according to a press conference on the third day of the ongoing conference in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, state media reported.

Retired Lt-Gen Khin Zaw Oo said that the political dialogue framework will be finalized before the next conference where a common ground will be sought for discussions on the agenda items for national-level political dialogue.

Dr SalaiLian Hmung Sakhong said that United Nationalities Federal Council, a coalition of seven ethnic armed organizations who have not signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement yet, presented a paper on its policies to the third-day session of the conference.
