AA Declares It is Close to Achieving the Goals of the Rakhine Dream

Khaing Lu Hla (Roma Mray) — The Arakan Army (AA) announced that it is nearing the realization of the "Rakhine Dream".

In a statement released in the Arakanese language on May 29, 2026, the AA credited this progress to the ongoing sacrifices of its soldiers, who give their sweat, blood, and lives daily, and the courage of the Arakan people.

The Arakan People's Revolutionary Government, in solidarity with the public, is relentlessly driving the Arakan National Revolution. Having secured control over almost the entire territory of Arakan, the forces are on the verge of achieving their ultimate national goals.

At the same time, Arakan warriors continue to fight the junta on the front lines to ensure complete victory. As the defeated junta army loses ground, it has resorted to heavier bombardments and airstrikes on towns and villages inhabited by Arakan civilians.

Amidst these intense military confrontations, the statement noted that the Arakan People's Revolutionary Government is facing mounting pressure from international groups posing as human rights organizations, as well as targeted attacks from individual national traitors.

Despite these military, political, and diplomatic challenges, the Arakan People's Revolutionary Government remains focused on nation-building. Working in tandem with the Arakan public, the administration is prioritizing the rule of law, healthcare, education, administration, and community development.

To formalize this progress, the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) issued a separate "Statement on Urban Development and Systematic Development in Arakan State" on May 29, 2026.

This directive invites all Arakan citizens to join hands in successfully implementing high-quality, systematic urban projects across the state.
