Shan university students demand a merger of two Shan EAOs

The Literature and Culture Committee of Shan university students recently issued a six-point statement, calling for the merger of two Shan armed groups.

The six-point demand is:

1) The merger of two Shan armed groups,

2) to frankly coordinate their policies on national affairs and conflicts in the presence of monks and the public,

3) join with the people and youth to achieve their desired goals

4) stand with the public through a merger of two armed forces by viewing the current political situation as an opportunity to know the real common enemy,

5) To help the public with issues of race, religion and national affairs

6) university students will help the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Shan State as much as they can.
