Revolutionary Alliance Forces Attacked the SAC’s No. 19 Military Operation Command Headquarters, in Honor of Mon Revolutionary Day

In honor of the 76th Mon Revolution Day, which falls on August 31, 2023, the Revolutionary Alliance Force based in Mon State and Tenasserim (Taninthayi) Division attacked the No. 19 Military Operation Command Headquarters and Regular Infantry Battalions  No. 61 based in Ye Township, southernmost area of Mon State.

On August 28th around 11:00 AM, the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), Ye Air Force (YAF), Ye Defense Forces (YDF), Dawei District No. (2) Battalion (T-5), Dor Na Military Column, Kanpauk Defense Force (KBDF), Mon State Revolutionary Organization (MSRO), All Burma Students' Democratic Front (ABSDF) Battalion 1, and Tavoy People Liberation Force (TPLF) cooperated in an action. During this event, No. 19 Operation Command Headquarters and Light Infantry Battalions - 61 were targeted and bombed by an SF-Z aircraft.

Despite cloudy weather conditions, this operation was conducted with difficulties with small invented aircraft, and one the revolutionary forces's SF-Z small plane was destroyed due to the weather.

Due to the revoluntionary forces’ attack, No. 19 MOCH fired back at least 8 times with 81mm and 120mm mortar shells, but the revolutionary forces managed to retreat without taking any harm.

During the military attack, the Revolutionary Alliance Force announced that they could not confirm how many casulties and death of SAC soliders in the military bases of No. 19 MOCH and Regular Infantry Battalion No. 61.
