NUG is confronting junta regime in political, military aspects, says labour affairs minister

Myanmar resistance groups are spearheading campaigns against the junta regime in political and military sectors  , said Minister for Labour Affair Naing Thu Wunnas, who is also a member of Interim Local Public Administration Implementation Committee under the National Unity Government.

At the meeting between his committee and the people’s defense forces in Sagaing and Magway n 27 January, he said, “All the resistance forces are confronting the military junta in political and military sectors. As the ground administration is important, coordination measures are needed. More efforts must be added in political, economic, social, education, health and defense sectors for the implementation of administration sector.”

Representatives of local administrations presented their basic requirements, and the officials responded to them.

The meeting was attended by ministers, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, joint permanent secretaries, relevant officials of NUG, and leaders and members of public administrations in Sagaing and Magway regions.
