A meeting to be held between the government and the Delegation for Peace Negotiation (DPN) of the United Nationalities Federal Council (UNFC) in Chiang Mai, Thailand set to take place in the third week of June has been postponed.

21st century Panglong Peace Convention, pre-convention preparatory subcommittee secretary Hla Maung Shwe said that the government informed the DPN that thegovernment delegation led by Min Zaw Oo wanted to meet in Chiang Mai on June 20. However, the DPN replied that they were not yet ready to meet with the government.
