The Mandalay People's Defense Force (PDF) attacked  the Junta's primary military academy,

the Defense Services Academy (DSA), in Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region, using 107 mm improvised rockets.

Members of the People's Defense Force (PDF) in Mandalay launched five improvised rockets, with four detonating in the vicinity of the dormitories housing soldiers, according to the NUG.

On April 4, PDF employed drones in a coordinated attack targeting the military command headquarters and Aye Lar Air Base in Naypyidaw, the Junta’s stronghold.
