Two artillery shells fired from Mount Khara, a Military Council camp base, exploding on a hill near Laiza township, a local said. “I haven’t heard any rounds falling in Laiza yet, but two landed on a hill 3 miles from the town”, he told KNG.

According to Laiza residents, the Military Council continued to shell at least ten rounds this evening.
