ICE and meth seized in Myanmar drug sting

Myanmar’s Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control said Sunday they had seized a large drug consignment in Shan State, Xinhua reports.

Security forces carried out the operation in Minekok Township on Friday.

The authorities said they had seized ICE worth 200 million kyats and stimulants worth 999.6 million kyats. The police say they are working to apprehend five suspects who fled the scene.
