AA drone strike kills junta army soldiers while they assemble in line to take propaganda photos at Minpyin Weather Radar Station in Kyaukphyu Township

An Arakan Army drone strike killed many soldiers from the Myanmar junta army while they were getting ready to line up for propaganda photographs in front of the Min Pyin Weather Radar Station located in Kyaukphyu Township.

The incident took place at around 10 a.m. on November 14.

Approximately 20 junta soldiers were reported dead, with many more sustaining injuries, based on information from a source at the scene.

A video recording of the drone strike emerged, showing numerous Burmese soldiers falling to the ground during the AA drone attack.

Reports indicate that some AA troops seemed to retreat from the village, enticing the junta column into the area. The AA subsequently launched a close-range assault on the convoy entering the village, resulting in multiple junta troop injuries.

After a confrontation occurred on November 14 between the terrorist group and the Arakan Army near Chaung Wa village and Min Pyin village, the air force conducted extensive bombings in the region, and warships continuously launched heavy artillery fire.

After retreating, the junta army encountered assaults from both drones and attacks at close range.

A military insider close to the AA indicated, "They pushed into the village after claiming victory.

Some soldiers lost their lives due to landmines, whereas others were killed at close range. On Friday, hundreds died in Min Pyin, and there were also several arrests made.

Reports from on-the-ground sources indicated that several soldiers had been captured and had surrendered.

Military observers have reported that the conflict between the AA and the Myanmar military in Kyaukphyu is currently severe, resulting in casualties for both sides, with the Myanmar junta military suffering more losses.
