Nasaka kills cattle trader en route to Bangladesh from Burma

Maungdaw, Arakan State : Nasaka Burma 's border security force shot dead a cattle trader when he was going to Bangladesh with cattle in an engine boat on March 1. The shooting occurred when the boat reached near Aley Than Kyaw village in Maungdaw township in the Bay of Bengal , according to a local eyewitness to the incident.

The shooting occurred when the boat reached near Aley Than Kyaw village in Maungdaw township in the Bay of Bengal , according to a local eyewitness to the incident.
 
On that day, before noon, 10-crew members in an engine boat carrying cattle from Akyab (Sittwe), the capital of Arakan State to Shapuri Dip of Bangladesh left with relevant documents from concerned authorities. However, when the engine boat arrived near Aley Than Kyaw Nasaka camp, personnel tried to stop the boat. But, the boat sped off, so the Nasaka shot at the boat and hit the trader. He died on the spot.
 
The Nasaka approached the engine boat and seized it with all the crew members. Then they (Nasaka) pulled the cattle boat along with crew members to Aley Than Kyaw sea beach.  All the crew members are from Rakhjne community.
 
The Nasaka seized the cattle along with the engine boat and the crew members have been detained in the Nasaka camp.
 
The cattle trader bought the cattle from Palet Wa Township of Chin State after getting permission form concerned authorities, said a close aide of Nasaka.
