San Maung Than - The preparation for polling stations in the Arakan State’s capital Sittwe was completed on time yesterday.

Yesterday, polling station officer Daw Kyi Kyi Aung from Kyaung That Lan Ward in Sittwe said: “We’re really 90 percent finished now. We will finish everything by this evening. We have started cleaning the rooms and carried out what is necessary since yesterday. We have finished arranging everything in order today,”

A total of 1,800 will vote in this polling station, and over 10 have given advanced votes related to sickness or other factors

Eleven polling station staff is serving at this polling station on this Election Day.

Polling station officer Aung Hla San also said yesterday that the polling station in Bauk Thee Su Ward in Sittwe was nearly ready.
