Military Council's Dropped 121 bombs on Chin State villages during March and April

The Chin National Front (CNF) reported that during March-April period, Military Council troops carried out many airstrikes in Chin State, resulting 2 CNA fighters killed, and 24 civilians from over 121 bombs dropped.

Chin National Front (CNF) spokesperson Salai Htet Ni said, "The increasing use of fighter jets indicates that their ground troops have suffered so many casualties that the regime has become more and more dependent on their air force."

During the May 8th bombing runs, more than 22 bombs were dropped on four villages where civilians reside, and the remaining 99 bombs fell in the vicinity of these villages.

Fighter jets bombed Khuafo Village in Thantlang Township on March 30, Webula Town in Falam Township on April 10, Panpar Village in Provision No. 1 in Mindat Township on April 16, and Tlanglo Village in Thantlang Township on April 27.

Over a period of two months, Military Council troops bombed the region, resulting in the deaths of 24 Chin people, including two comrades of the Chin National Army (CNA).

According to the CNF statement, 33 Chin people were also injured during the bombardment.

The bombing also caused damage to more than 50 residential houses, as well as four Christian churches.
