USDP office in Yangon's North Okkalapa Township bombed

Generation Z Defence Force & Supply Army released a statement saying that it detonated two remotely controlled bombs at the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) office in North Okkalapa Township, Yangon at 7:00 p.m. on 27 August.

All of the fighters who carried out the attack on the military aligned USDP political party office in D Ward, on Khay Mar Thi Road escaped. As yet casualty numbers are unknown, according to a Generation Z Defence Force & Supply Army representative.

They said: "We detonated two bombs. After the incident two junta vehicles arrived and set up a security checkpoint where they checked the belongings of pedestrians. We don't yet know how much damage and how many fatalities the attack caused.

"Previously on 26 August, other urban guerrilla forces, the Union of Myanmar Civil Defense (UMCD) and Rawt Malan Hpyen La (RMH) detonated remotely controlled bombs at the ward administration office in North Okkalapa Township.
