The Military Junta seizes some villagers and their properties

In Kanpauk District, Yebyu Township, some villagers sitting in a tea shop were illegally arrested by the Junta and their belongings were confiscated in Maw Gyi Village of the Phaungdaw village tract.

 

This afternoon, while villagers were having tea where a grocery store and a tea shop were opening together in the village, the Junta troop violently arrested 4 villagers and took away alcohol and other items from the shop according to the witnesses.

 

The four arrested villagers were identified as three from Maw Gyi Village and one from Zadi Village.

The Junta troops order those villagers to carry the confiscated items and they are detaining them at the Phaungdaw Village Administrative Office at present.
