Military council suspends more than 600 Teachers and Principals in Homalin Township

 The Military Council has ordered the suspension of 618 Primary School Principals and Middle School Teachers from their position temporarily in Homalin Township.

 

Since May 8, the Military Council has suspended them due to absenteeism and break of staff rules and regulations.

 

The Military Council is forcing CDM teachers across Myanmar to return to office by suspending them according to teachers.

 

The suspended teachers are contacted to return to the Department of Education or to meet the headmistress in order to report the reasons for their absence by text message, according to the teachers.

 

As per the record of the 2019 list in Homalin Township, there are 2,618 teachers in 311 schools of the Department of Basic Education in total.
