Myanmar’s sea trade reaches over 4.8 billion U.S. dollars

Myanmar's trade through sea routes reached over 4.8 billion U.S. dollars as of Dec. 6 in present fiscal year (FY) 2019-2020 which started in October, Xinhua reported.

In over two months, the country earned over 2 billion U.S. dollars from maritime export while its import amounted to over 2.8 billion U.S. dollars.

This FY's sea trade increased by 482.8 million U.S. dollars, compared to the same period of last FY 2018-2019 when it was 4.3 billion U.S. dollars.
