Another two charged for distributing pamphlets on Karenni history, objection against Bogyoke statue

Hpasawng Township authorities have charged another two people after eight people have been charged with Section 505 of the Penal Code in two townships in the Karenni (Kayah) State.

The authorities have charged Khun Kawrio and Ko Bwe Htoo with Section 505 (b) of the Penal Code for distributing pamphlets on the history of the Karenni State and objection against Bogyoke bronze statue.

Hpasawng Township Court summoned the two men to appear at the court on August 10.

Among the two accused men, Khun Kawrio has denied his involvement in the distribution of the pamphlets.
