Residents Lined After Polling Stations Supposed To Close
Many voters are still lined up to cast their ballots, while others have left frustrated without voting as the official hours for polling stations have passed in Yaungdaung village in Mon State’s Mudon Township.
At the time of press polling stations that opened at 6 am and were supposed to close at 4 pm were still taking votes.
Among the 2,028 eligible voters in the township, only 746 have voted ; 1,282 did not, according to a polling station officer.
