Wife of Social Affairs Minister of Yangon Region Government arrested

The Social Affairs Minister of Yangon Region Government, Naing Ngan Lin's wife and child were arrested while taking a package of food and medicine to prison.

It has not yet confirmed why they were arrested and where they were taken.

Social Affairs Minister Naing Ngan Lin has been detained by the military council since February 1. He is said to be infected with Covid-19.
