UEC announces applications for by-election observers

The Union Election Commission announced yesterday that election observers at home and abroad can apply to the UEC for the right to observe the 3 November by-elections for vacant parliamentary seats with effect from 6th June to 18th October, according to state media.

The UEC released dates and vacant constituencies for the by-elections on 8th May and time schedules for targeted working processes on 25 May.

The UEC announced Order 1/2016 for local observers and Order 2/2016 for international observers on 31 October 2016.
