Three Tatmadaw troops killed in Myaung township

Three Tatmadaw troops were killed and a military vehicle damaged in a three-hour battle in Myaung Township, according to a People's Defence Force.



The clash with the People's Defence Forces (PDF) started near Myitsone village in Myaung township, Sagaing region.



"We had to retreat because of heavy artillery fire. There were no casualties on our side, but three troops of the military council were killed. A military vehicle was also blown up and damaged,” said a member of People's Defence Forces (PDF).



The People's Defence Forces’ (PDF) camp in Pauk Chaung village in Myaung Township was raided by the military council but the People's Defence Forces’ (PDF) was able to withdraw without casualties.
