The Three Brotherhood Alliance called on other anti-regime forces to seize this rare opportunity and launched attacks on junta bases in their respective regions at the same time.

The alliance said that it had discovered that the other resistance forces were conducting their own operations simultaneously on the fifth day of Operation 1027 and this is a sign of the eradication of the military regime.

On October 31, the Three Brotherhood Alliance announced that it had captured and completely controlled Chin Shwe Haw and Phaung Sai, two of the most important towns in Kokang Special Region 1, within five days of the operation, and Theinni is also under control.

At least four more junta bases in the Northern Shan and Kachin States were under control, according to a statement by the Three Brotherhood Alliance.

Since 6 a.m. on October 31, the joint forces of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the Arakan Army (AA) launched an attack on the military council's Gang Dau Yang camp on the Myitkyina-Bhamo Road, about 25 kilometers from Laiza, Kachin State, and captured it in about two and a half hours.

The revolutionary forces confiscated military equipment and found dead bodies of junta soldiers, and the battle claimed the battalion commander of Light Infantry Battalion 387, said the statement.

Following the fall of the Gang Dau Yang military outpost, the military council is conducting airstrikes on Alaw Bum hill near Laiza, where the KIO headquarters is located.

On the same day, the KIA and the AA took control over Infantry Battalion 324 in Monemaw-Namhai in Namtu Town of northern Shan State, said the Brotherhood Alliance.

The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), a member of the Three Brotherhood Alliance, also attacked the Maipa military camp between Lashio and Theinni Townships of the military region of Ta’ang Brigade 4 at 4:00 a.m. yesterday.

According to the Three Brotherhood Alliance, they discovered many dead bodies of the junta army, seized large amounts of weapons and military equipment, and kept some enemies in accordance with the provisions of the treatment of the prisoner of war.
