The People Soldiers' Production Team or PSPT has stated that some heavy weapons and malfunctioning assault rifles from Ethnic Revolutionary Organizations (ERO) would be repaired and sent to the resistance forces so they can use them for battle.

The team said in a statement on 20 October that the weapons will shortly be given to the ethnic resistance forces undertaking operations and in actual need of them.

"We are still working hard on the projects that originally produced weapons and to support PDF, local resistance forces and urban guerilla organizations with our ability as much as we can," said a spokesperson for the People Soldiers' Production Team.

According to the team, the resistance forces in urgent need will receive the upgraded weapons first, and attempts are being made to assist the other organizations as well.

The People Soldiers' Production Team is formed mainly of Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) soldiers from the Defense Service Technological Academy (DSTA). CDM Captain Nyi Thuta is in charge as the Focal Person for PSPT's projects. PSPT produce and install weapons for PDF and local resistance force
