The Southern Shan State Local Revolution Union (SSLR) announced that it will join with the Pa-O National Liberation Army (PNLO) in dismantling administrative mechanisms of the coup regime throughout the southern region of Shan State.

SSLRU partnership with PNLO is committed to nurturing the emergence of a true federal union, upholding the right to national equality, and affirming the right to shape their own destiny according to its statement on January 27th,

Meanwhile, the Pa-O National Federal Council (PNFC) also expressed its approval of PNLO's declaration on January 27th, affirming its commitment to continue the united struggle with partner resistance forces until the establishment of a federal democratic system.
