Revolutionary forces seize 2 towns in Myanmar

Armed revolutionary groups, including the PDF, seized control of a town in western Chin State and another in the northwestern Sagaing Region on April 7.

On April 7, the last remaining battalion (268) located in Falam, Chin State, was seized by the Chin Brotherhood (CB) and its allies, resulting in Falam town coming under CB's control.

The revolutionary forces confirmed that the battalion (268) located in Falam was seized on April 7.

The Chin Brotherhood(CB) and its allies, such as the AA, initiated an operation to seize Falam on November 9 and successfully took it on April 7 after over 4 months of military offensives.

In a similar manner, the National Unity Government (NUG) (Ministry of Defense) declared that it had taken control of Inn Taw town in the Sagaing Region on the evening of April 7.

The announcement indicated that the revolutionary forces, including the PDFs, under the leadership of the National Unity Government, Ministry of Defense, Military Region No. (1), have successfully taken control of the town of Inn Taw following over eight months of conflict, on the night of April 7, 2025.

The announcement further mentioned that numerous weapons, ammunition, and military gear, such as howitzers and 120 mm mortars, were confiscated from the fight for Inn Taw, along with photographs.
